let out to play

I love working from home, but it’s a buzz to get out too and this week I’ve been in Prague with Ian Livingstone, prepping the score and parts, then helping out on the sessions for a video game soundtrack.  It was a killer workload but that’s the nature of the job!

We didn’t get a lot of sleep but we did have a load of fun and came away with excellent performances, working with a great bunch of people from Tadlow Music and the Smecky studio.

The Prague session players were totally professional and the studio captured beautiful recordings.  Ian makes the most of orchestral power in his compositions, from tender, emotional strings to awesome full brass and high-energy action.
